Hi everyone! I am Charlie Carvalho, Wellbeing Pilates came around back in 2014. 


I first discovered Pilates when I decided to take a visit to my aunts house in Spain, she was already a Pilates instructor and told me so much how pilates could benefit me and my life as I was an insurance broker in London, working long hours sitting at a desk and then training in a gym with little to no stretching. I was always injured and in pain. I did no strength work and being hyper mobile I needed to increase my strength to support my joints to prevent further injuries. 


I have been practicing Pilates since I was 17 yrs old, then when I trained as a Pilates teacher, I was the youngest teacher to qualify in the UK. I've been so grateful to work alongside some of the most incredible teachers and mentors in the world who have helped me grow not only as a teacher but as a person. They taught me to love, respect and care for my body and learn the importance of a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

The knowledge I have gained through my time travelling as a Pilates teacher; working in the top studio's in Hong Kong and Barbados. along side some inspirational teachers. This gave me an even greater passion to pass onto others and help them to discover how much Pilates can help and impact your life for the good.
